Who we are: [My Grill Cleaners] (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides mobile BBQ grill and smoker cleaning services in [service areas, e.g., Salt Lake, Utah, Summit & Wasatch counties, UT]. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our services.
1) Information we collect
A. You give us directly
- Contact & scheduling details: name, email, phone, service address, preferred dates/times.
- Service specifics: grill/smoker brand/model, fuel type, condition, photos/videos you upload, notes (e.g., gate codes or HOA instructions).
- Payment details: we use third-party processors to handle payments (e.g., Stripe/Square/Housecall Pro Payments). We don’t store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: emails, texts, calls, reviews/testimonials.
B. Collected automatically
- Device & usage data: pages viewed, clicks, referring URLs, approximate location, and similar.
- Cookies & analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”) for site measurement. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses, and provides regional privacy controls. See “Cookies & Ads” below.
- Server logs: our web host may log IP address and error details for security/fraud prevention.
C. From partners & platforms
- Booking & CRM: if you schedule, pay, or message through our booking platform (e.g., Housecall Pro), they share needed details with us to provide service (and they process data under their own privacy policy).
- Ads & social: when you interact with our Google/Meta ads or contact us via those platforms, we may receive information those platforms provide under their policies.
- Referrals: property managers, HOAs, outdoor-living partners, or marketplaces may share your contact and job details when you request service.
2) How we use information
- Schedule, route, and perform services at your property.
- Create quotes, invoices, and process payments.
- Send confirmations, reminders, updates, and service follow-ups (email/SMS/calls).
- Improve our website, services, safety practices, and customer support (analytics).
- Marketing & retention (only where permitted): limited email/SMS offers; measurement and retargeting ads on Google/Meta; see “Your choices” below.
- Legal, security, and fraud prevention.
3) Photos & before/after media
We often take before/after photos or short clips of grills/smokers to document work quality, warranty, and training. With your permission, we may use them in marketing (e.g., our site, social media) after removing or avoiding personal identifiers. You can opt out anytime by emailing [info@mygrillcleaners.com].
4) Texts, calls & consent
By providing your phone number, you agree we may call or text you about your appointments and service. We may also send occasional promos if you opt in. Reply “STOP” to end marketing texts (you’ll still get critical service messages). Message/data rates may apply. (We follow FCC/TCPA consent rules for automated texts/calls.)
5) Cookies, analytics & ads
- Analytics: We use GA4 to understand site usage. GA4 doesn’t log or store IP addresses and offers regional privacy controls.
- Ads/retargeting: We use Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to measure ads and show relevant offers. You can control personalized ads via your Google/Meta settings and industry opt-outs (links below).
Opt-outs & controls
If you use a browser-based opt-out preference signal (e.g., Global Privacy Control), we will treat it as a request to opt out of cross-site targeted advertising to the extent required by applicable law.
6) Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers/processors: booking & dispatch (e.g., Housecall Pro), payments, email/SMS providers, cloud hosting, analytics, and ad partners, strictly to operate our business.
- Business partners you engage: e.g., a property manager that coordinates your appointment.
- Legal/security: to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights/safety.
- Business transfers: if we merge, sell assets, or reorganize.
Some state laws define “sharing” to include cross-context behavioral advertising; our use of ad/analytics tools may fall into this category. See “State privacy rights” below.
7) Data retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:
- Job/transaction records for tax, accounting, and warranty (typically 7 years).
- Photos for documentation/warranty (until no longer needed or you ask us to delete).
- Marketing & analytics data per tool settings or legal limits (e.g., GA4 event retention windows).

9) Children’s privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact [info@mygrillcleaners.com] and we’ll delete it as required by COPPA.
